Subject: Edusites English Friday Takeaway
Date: October 13th 2017

Every week Edusites English emails our Eduscribers with new resources in our Friday Takeaway. These are resources which can be used immediately in the classroom and are in addition to our vast bank of regularly updated resources which cater for all exam boards.

Our Friday Takeaway is an experiment for Edusites English. Those of you who use our Media and Film sites will be familiar with our Online Slides. Here we have a new Eduqas Component 1 Exam Paper and Mark Scheme PLUS a link to online slides for both List 42b and Brothers. We propose these could take two one hour lessons including one lesson for the students to sit the exam then one lesson to self or peer assess using the online slides as a marking guide.

The other option is that you could take students through the exam itself using the List 42b example over at least two lessons then let them loose on Brothers. Both of these scripts have been made by Grainne Hallahan who has been teaching in Essex for more than ten years. We are very excited with these resources. Lots more to come.

Thinking about what to set for PPEs?

For AQA teachers we are devising a feedback option using last Summer's exam paper and some recent thinking on developing student performance.

Remember we want your ideas for Friday Takeaways. Do send us an email if you want to see more of something or if you want to comment on these slides.
